A note about Santa Fe
I have grown up visiting and living off and on in Santa Fe over the past 30 years. My family are native New Mexicans, coming from Lovington, Ruidoso, Roswell and Santa Fe. My father currently resides just outside the city, and I have the pleasure of visiting him a few times a year. Santa Fe holds a very magical place in my heart. I love it here at the foot of the mountains and hope to share a bit of what I adore with each of you.
In love and joy,

Included in your retreat are shared room accommodations in our beautiful home located just off the Plaza within walking distance to many of the most revered attractions and accessible shopping in Santa Fe. All sessions with Nicolai and Melissa. Not included are meals, airport transfer and excursions.
Meals (each breakfast and one dinner) at our host home will be pot luck / shared meals. If you’re flying in for the retreat, we will organize a group to go to local market or grocer to get simple things to prepare to share for breakfasts. All other meals will be on your own. You may prepare your own meals (ample kitchen facilities) or choose to eat out at a wide range of wonderful restaurants all within walking distance of our home. Many options to choose from for any budget. A note about shared meals: I have offered this in almost all of my US retreats and in Malaysia. There is magic that happens in the kitchen. When we share meals and offer something with love and that has been mindfully prepared, we are offering a piece of ourselves. There is a serendipitous quality to it.
Enjoy the magic that unfolds.
Enjoy the magic that unfolds.
This is a very special weekend in Santa Fe with the International Folk Art Festival. I have spent many years watching this event grow and last year, was very impressed at the worldwide artist talent all in one place. There is a shuttle within walking distance from us that can take you to the market. There’s also incredible food vendors for a wonderful sampling of Northern New Mexico food. Tickets should be purchased on your own well in advance, as they tend to sell out.
Oja Caliente mineral spa is about an hour’s drive from Santa Fe and is a lovely day/ or half day adventure. Ten Thousand Waves a Japanese inspired hot spring is a bit closer to us (a car is needed) and is a wonderful spa experience if you’ve never done something like either of these, I highly recommend treating yourself! It’s suggested to also book in advance, as this is a busy tourist season in Santa Fe.
Our hike will be near by and accessible for all levels. Keep in mind this is your adventure. Be mindful to nurture yourself by taking moments to on your own, moments to connect with others & also discern whether you need to be still or active. Be prepared to explore all the amazing things Santa Fe has to offer or simply spend time with new or old friends in our beautiful host home. This is your time to create your own schedule around our offerings and to get the most of out this experience together.
For those of you who live in Santa Fe or have alternate housing, drop in for Yoga Asana practice and Yoga Sutra talks are available, inquire via email, firstname.lastname@example.org
